Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. Her best-recognition was for her performances in Nashville, the 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also won the award in Sharknado 2013 in which she portrayed Claudia Shepard. She also played the title role in the movie Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples grew up on Lake Mary Florida. She is the younger sister of Ally. Aubrey was a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre during her growing up. She graduated Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she spoke as the valedictory of the 2012 class. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but later agreed to permit her a second entry because she was cast as "Nashville". Peeples was in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2005). Also, she had a regular role on Necessary Rustiness (1991). The actress was also seen in the television movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective and The Good Mother. She was a major player for the Nashville series, in which she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples admitted to bipolar during an interview in 2019 in NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples among the best actors younger than 20 in September of 2014.
